We are Catie Ginther, age 17, and McKenna Reh, age 15. Since 2017 our organization has been dedicated to spreading awareness for our cause and slowing down the growth of homelessness in Rochester.

At the age of 12, Catie was tasked with writing an essay on homelessness and the ways in which to ease the problem. After writing out a plan, she recruited her neighbor, McKenna, to help bring the idea to life. They have directly raised over $25,000 for the YWCA, and indirectly raised over $100,000 through promotional efforts.

Striving to make the maximum positive impact in our community, we chose to put our support behind the YWCA of Greater Rochester. Their staff are some of the most dedicated and kindhearted people we have had the pleasure of knowing. We hope that by raising awareness for them, less people Rochester will go without a bed each night.
